    THERE ARE TWO EL-SOLENOIDS (P/N 159177) IN THE RIGHT REAR END. ONE FOR THE EXHAUST BY-PASS VALVE AND ONE FOR THE AIR INJECTION. BUT, WHICH ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR IS MEANT TO WHICH VALVE? ONE CONNECTOR IS BLUE AND ONE IS BLACK AND BOTH CONNECTORS ARE THE SAME - FITS BOTH VALVES.

    If you have my 5.2 diagram, you will note I coloured the plug in blue.

    5.2 Ignition/Injection

    The secondary air solenoid valve is the outboard solenoid on my car.

    Great, I disconnected both to replace both solenoids (both broken) and didn't notice that the connectors were the same until I saw that one was blue under some dirt.
