I was watching this car because I have 41,000 miles on mine. I wonder what they had as a reserve on it ? If I could get even $80 K I would be in serious trouble.......lol I would be looking at a 430 or a 550/575 thinking "I NEED this car" ...... .....and not having a wife or gf I usually win all my arguments/discussions that I have with myself
With a couple of chipped wheels, warn seat bolster, leather shrinkage on the binnacle, tacky carbon fiber overlays on the console and instrument clusters, and 43k miles.
The biggest downside to me is the color and then the miles. I don't have a problem with higher mileage but the market does. As long as the new owner is happy who cares. I'm just surprised cause there's a silver 355 Spyder on eBay that's been for sale for quite some time and it looks much cleaner and has lower miles than this one.
BaT is the wrong place for Ferrari’s, especially 355’s, in the past. Maybe that is changing? I don’t know if there is a good place for Ferrari’s. The only reason I bought Eddie’s car is Mike at Yellow Compass. I was going to buy a silver one for less money. Glad I bought Eddie’s. It is even better now [emoji12]. And it is really not for sale. I have it listed, but I think I would do like an adoption agency or something and have to do home visits and people would have to prove their worth to buy my car. It is just to damn Glorious!! Sorry, I got off track [emoji854] BaT is so awesome and yet I have such disdain for their founders and their customer service/listing system. But alas, I am just an armchair quarterback. I bought one car off of there and tried to sell 3 with no luck. One listing went live and was a disaster. The others never got listed. They just stopped responding as we went through the listing process. Anyway. I hope the deal goes through. Maybe the 355 market is ticking up. Maybe I will keep my car for the rest of my life - pleas GOD let me live into my 80’s and not go broke [emoji16] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
now there's the '95 355 on BaT with 37k miles. i'm very interested to see where this goes... engine out service was at 32k and 2 years ago.
Me too - that's basically my car, but rosso corsa instead of blu scuro. I don't think they've done the headers, though.
I posted on BaT about that car. It should break $70 and hopefully more. Remember to add 5% to sales figure to max of $5k so it is really close to $60k now. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I figure it will sit pretty close to this price for the next 4 days. Watched one live yesterday, when it got down to 2 minutes two guys went at it for 15 minutes Can't remember which car it was, but one finally said "yours" I am done.
Is the Earth really flat? Did we fake the moon landing? Are women really from Venus? Of all the trivial subjects in need of answers to leap man forward, here we are debating one off and copycat stories recirculated thru internet blog about maintianance cost of the 355. I suppose it’s occupy the mind when the body is bored. A senor Stooge told me, the maintenance cost of the 355 comes to about $100 a month. Pretty accurate and I have the math and logic to prove it but not now. Busy in Seattle and Portland anticipating the sun will come out. OK, it’s pouring heavy outside. I’m gonna go play in the rain.
No debate here. I agree with your assessment above and I am tired of snowflakes who care how much their Ferrari cost to own. Buy a Toyota or shut-up Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Most with a Berlinetta or GTS keep’m [emoji854] My 348 Spider was a great first entry. Was looking for a TS, but lucked into mine pretty cheap, but in hindsight I should have steered clear of spiders. Top is coming off the GTS tomorrow. But I can drive it either way with a smile on my face [emoji41] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Greetings. How much should a very clean, all stock 96 355GTS with a stick go for these days? Assume it's got all records and was recently serviced, and it's red/tan. I think the mileage is under 30K. I'm asking for the widow of a friend
To be frank, it's very hard to price a car without photos. Hypothetical situations are subject to a lot of assumptions. One person 's idea of very clean is another's basket case. If you post many, recent photos and information, I (and others) will provide a good value analysis.
Some things never change Your wanted ad was a good idea, that's how I found mine. Be patient, don't settle.
Theres a 99 b at Ferrari of New England for 68.9 seems a bit below market especially for a Fcar dealer.
I'd think 70s to 80s depending on some variables and also how fast they want to sell it. I gave you a rather wide estimate but hope that helps.
Just spent 3 hours in my car this morning. Price has gone up $5000. Robb hurry and buy the blue car of your dreams so prices can rise [emoji12] Cheers and Happy Easter to All. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
ZFFPR41A6S0100465 A few weeks ago this very clean, low mile(10,378), one owner 95 B (Rosso Corsa/ Nero ) popped up for sale from Schmitt. Was listed for $89k and within a day they bumped it to $99k It sold in 7-10 days - no surprise https://www.schmitt.com/inventory/1995-ferrari-f355-berlinetta/ Crave Luxury Auto picked it up - no photos yet and listing says Red /Tan but the VIN matches so listing is wrong. Will be interesting to see the ask. I'm betting $130K http://www.craveluxuryauto.com/web/2234/vehicle/42044258/1995-Ferrari-F355 Berlinetta Image Unavailable, Please Login
If it's the same car, it was a dealer swap. Hard to consider that a sale. And no way dealer B bought the car from dealler A for anything thing close to dealer A's asking. Not a retail transaction. Heck, one of the Caymans I was looking at was "sold" twice only to reappear at a different dealer both times.
Not sure I agree with that. Dealer A didn't let a cream puff go in a week for zero profit - what's the motivation?
