NO! I’m 355less right now. I’d like to add back a decent Berlinetta before prices go too crazy that I can never afford one again.

I saw that car. Six owners = 3k miles? I think a lot of people called ******** on that mileage. If the car was one owner with that mileage it would have sold for 125k. A lot of these cars had their clocks turned back. It was not tough to do.

The car was in pretty good condition. I doubt it was rolled back. Remember, sometimes a dealer shows as an owner.

One dealer in the chain that I could see - Marshall Goldman. Car had one owner for 16 years and he allegedly put about 1600 miles on the car, or about 100 miles a year. Since 2014, the car has traded around quite a bit. Who knows, maybe the mileage is correct. If it is correct, then the buyer got quite a deal. The seller was a dealer, so I dont know why he would let the car go for 95k. Marshall Goldman would sit on that car until he got at least 125k. A sub 10k mile 355 GTS went for 115k in a private sale two years ago. Goldman had a GTS with about 5k miles in 2015 that he was asking 180k for. 3k mikes is ridiculously low and if correct, should have gone for much more money.

I've been saying for a while now that Mecum has been upping the game with respect to Ferrari and other exotics. Not just Ferraris; Lambos, McLaren, Pagani, Bugatti, Porsche..... Be interesting to see what the 1958 Porsche 550A Spyder brings.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned the estimates for some of these 348s/355s.

    1995 348 Spider, 8570 mi. - $100K - $125K
    1999 355 Spider, 12k mi., $95K - $110K (incorrectly listed as an F355; car is actually an F1)
    1999 355 Fiorano, 18,700 mi., $130K - $150K (again, incorrectly listed as an F355)

    Does Mecum know something?

They know how to self promote. I've been to several Mecum auctions over the years and what you see on TV isn't quite the atmosphere you get in person. In person it is pretty obvious when Mecum employees are shill bidding just to approach the reserve. Don't get me wrong, they have nice cars, but they are definitely there to generate exchanges. It's not like they are sitting on a lot of 348/355s waiting for them to appreciate.

Often a car will get passed around after a trade in and each is recorded as an owner by outlets like Carfax. One should always buy on condition and not worry about how many “owners” it had. That said, I’m sure there are many rolled back 355s out there.

Very nice on first blush. If only it were a GTS and had the Scudiera grill, it would be perfect!

The challenge grill addition is pretty easy - much easier than converting it to a GTS ;)

I am considering selling my 1998 355 GTS F1 Rosso Corsa over Nero under 10K miles.
I have owned the car for 20 years. She is due for major service and tires.

Silver exterior is not bad, better than red. But the red interior knocks a good 10 Grand off the value for most people.

I don’t mind silver, but red is always what most people look for in a Ferrari. That’s just a fact. The red interior is a tough sell.

I disagree. Yep, it often referred to as "resale red" but many Ferrari's look better in other colors. I personally believe 458's and 599's look far better in darker colors.

Do you know that Ferrari's official color is not red?
