I really have not noticed that. I bought my car in March of 013 from an independent dealer after looking for 3 years. In that time I looked or inquired about more than a dozen cars and only 2 were a private sales. And that car was being held at a dealer for showcasing. Cars were at Chevy dealers, a Honda dealer Black Horse Motors in FL, Domani Motors in Deerfield Beach, A local BMW dealer, Ferrari of Atlanta, Ferrari dealer in Phoenix, Ron Tonkin, Ferrari of Fort Lauderdale, Lamborghini of West Palm Beach, and several independent dealers.
Why all the goofy angles on the interior and engine? You'd think if you're going to ask top dollar, you'd have photos of everything. Great service history.
Is this for real? What is so special about this one? http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&alt=web&id=391219046371&globalID=EBAY-US 1998 Ferrari 355
That was a lot of reading and I'm still confused! What does everyone thing a car like this goes for today? - Red/tan GTS - Average miles (not crazy high but not collector low) - Factory shields - Challenge grill Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Would it be easier to list the miles? So between 5k and 150k miles? 98 or 99, probably the latter and probably F1. Maintenance history? I'll guess 70k plus or minus 25k depending on the details.
I don't think it did. This is the same car that was supposed to have traded at 174k about a month ago.
The red / tan '95 that I found on cars.com is now also on eBay with more information. Valve guides done. Fabspeed headers and high- flow cats. looks like everything is done and well maintained, probably by an F-chatter - only issue for some is that it was regularly driven at 43,000 miles - that may also be a plus. Seems like a very good price at $69k. No affiliation. Hopefully this thread helps those looking find good cars. Robb Ferrari 355 F355 Berlinetta | eBay
Not sure if this has been posted but caught my eye. No affiliation with the car or seller. Anyone on Fchat know the car? 1997 Ferrari F355 Spider 6spd Manual
Looks pretty nice. Could use a dash recover. Also the rear bumper was at the very least repainted but I think replaced. (unless late 95 bumpers had the vent holes in them).
I have this identical car. Red on black, built in October of 1995. I have a black strip where the holes are in the back bumper. I have 49k on my odometer. My car is being put back together right now after the valves were just done. What this car sells for interests me.
Interesting find, in a desirable color combo. Looks like the interior stickies could use some attention. I do not think the rear bumper is original to that car. 95s didn't have slats. The best one publically advertised perhaps.
Perhaps a rear bumper damage in the past? Ordered new rear bumper. Shop forgets to add the flat black accent.
355dreamer. If you're selling that car, i think it would be the car that will get the ball rolling for prices above 100k. I see alot of cars asking $100k+, but I don't see them end up in the hands of an end user. I'm talking non low mileage, non Fioranos. I want to know who paid more than $100k for a 355 to actually drive it.
