Euro buyers are starting to pay up for good/rare 355’s, but still behind U.S buyers. If a U.S buyer were bidding, I’d imagine he’d budget another $20k for importing cost. I’m also not sure how buyers feel about the car not having a title. Why did the challenge car, which originally sold in Germany have a title and not this car?
From Seller's initial comment "***importation and shipping: we are including containerized transport to the U.S. East Coast with a successful purchase. The lucky new owner will be responsible for clearance fees and 2.5% duty on the sale price."
did you read the ad? last service almost 10 years ago, missing dash lights, missing records , super old tires etc etc etc...
lol, yup, i have a pretty mint GTS F1 now and its very well sorted yet i'm spending close to $10K still to bring it to market...hopefully pays off!
This one at $225k was a better deal and a prettier car, IMO.I like green but..... Image Unavailable, Please Login
42k miles vs 24k mi. Ironically, the seller of that Blue GTS @Suffyk was contemplating placing a bid on that Green GTS. His words: “The struggle not to buy is real.” Go figure .
Very strong print on the Verde Mugello GTS indeed Also live today https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1995-ferrari-f355-gts-10/
What’s interesting is this car has the rare accoustic shield/undertray. I was led to believe this option was not available on U.S cars. Image Unavailable, Please Login
I don't understand the placement of that shield. If you want to cut down on noise, it needs to be at the front of the engine, where the oil pump chain tensioner makes a huge racket. Not sure what the factory was thinking here, unless it's not actually about noise.
Annnnnnnd on to the next one. 44k mile example with a decent amount of recent service history: Image Unavailable, Please Login See: https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1995-ferrari-f355-gts-10/
The F129 has very little mechanical noise for such a highly strung engine given the use of hydraulic lifters and timing belts
I would remove the shield as it is no longer available. Acoustic shield cars have extra unsightly brackets exposed when the shield is removed, which hold the piece in place. If you destroy the piece, good luck.
Put your head in front of the right rear wheel and have a listen to the oil pump chain tensioner....or just watch walkaround videos on 355's with stock mufflers. When the camera's on the right side of the car, the chain tensioner is almost as loud as the exhaust.

Since this is the thread dedicated to F355 market and pricing, what are the thoughts on the 44k mile 95’ red/tan GTS on BaT and the 95 Berlinetta listed earlier this week here on FChat? https://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/threads/prime-beef-1995-355-b-red-tan-36-241-mi.692974/
