    Have a 1999, the parking brake handle ratchet doesn't seem to be working. I can pull the lever up but it doesn't engage. How do I fix it? Thanks

    If the ratchet teeth are worn, some folks have refiled the teeth. However, there may be ratchet assemblies/repair kits available from some stockists. P/N 66956100. Also suitable for 550's and 456's.

    Thanks for the response and the video. I have watched that video. Is there a manual that talks about repairing the brake handle apparatus? Or is there a schematic of the assembly?

    I had good success "fixing" my parking brake by simply cleaning and re-lubricating the ratchet mechanism.

    It wasn't overly worn but old, dried out grease was preventing it from locking properly.
