Guys - 1997 F355 6sp (11,000kms) with popup headlight issue on passenger side. I get about 8-10 uses out of the headlights (both go up and down without issue) until the passenger side lamp assembly stops moving (fuse blows). What could be the problem causing the fuse to continually blow? No other electrical gremlins in the car.

Any ideas would be helpful. Thanks.

I would check and lubricate the mechanism. My initial thought is that there is something causing drag/resistance that is causing the motor to work harder, and the fuse to blow. I have had the passenger side fuse blow one time last winter, and never happened again. It was a cold winter night....I can only assume it was caused by the cold and motor working harder. As I said, it has never repeated.

It was a cold night last night when it blew.

I replaced the fuse this morning and it worked great, however the right assembly is about 1-2 seconds slower to come up than the left. Looks like the "drag" you mentioned could be the culprit. Gonna have the major done in the spring, so I will have the guys lubricate all the parts up front too.

    Thanks for the feedback. :)
