    Hello,

    I am planning to buy a 355GTS and so far I’ve seen two: a 95 OBDIO-I (35,000KM) and a 97 OBDIO-II (38,000km) both European.
Both cars come from the Ferrari dealer of my city and both have been carefully tested: leak down and compressions test have been carried out by the dealer when the previous owners sold them and both have always been serviced once a year by the same dealer since new. I have not seen anything wrong with the valve guides albeit the 95 had its manifold changed back with OEM in 98 whilst the 97 never. I am kinda positive both cars are ok, but for my peace of mind I would like to take care of the manifolds either I go for the 95 or for the 97 regardless they do not show any particular sign of wear. I heard that QV in London is the best in this field and therefore, I am looking for some advises on what is the best combination of exhaust: I was thinking of a couple of QV reworked manifolds, hyperflow cats and capristo mufflers. Would you suggest me any cat or muffler in particular? I like it loud but not too much (so no TUBI!), let’s say at least until 3000rpm I want it reasonably quiet, above: no limit!

Finally, I notice that the 18K + belts and bearings service seems more expensive in the US rather than in Europe: I got a couple of quotes from VERDI and Sportcar (in Milan) and prices are around 3000euros. How come in the US it's almost the double?

    Many thanks and best regards,
