I am considering selling my M3 convertible since I dont drive it too much. My next car will definitly be a F355 syder or Berlinetta. what are the going prices now that the F430 just came out? thanks Leonardo
No430's on u.s. soil until spring of 05,I think a year from now the 430 will have more of an impact on ferrari prices than now. the range on 355.s seems to be from 75 to 90sthat is for well sorted out cars in perfect shape yes you can buy 95's with no service ,insides that look like animals lived in ,for short money ,but who wants that!!!!! my o2 David
Dave, thanks for the reply..well see what happens in a year. I would like a GTS but they are hard as hell to find. -Leonardo
The winter weather will have more on an impact on Spider prices than the introduction of the F430 will. The F430's are coming on US soil mid-2005. Even 360 prices won't move much for the first 9 - 12 months, till the initial "flipping" subsides, and the supply / demand equalizes. Only then, and only then, will you start to see a material compression of 355 prices. Recall that 355 prices have fallen substantially since the introduction of the 360. Consequently, expect a gradual reduction in prices, as future entry-level models get rolled out.
99 355 spi price has remained constant for April 04 - Oct 04, since then they drooped by approx. 2%. Prior to that: from 11/03 to 4/04 they were actually lower than they are now by another 2%, but from 4/03 to 11/03 they were 10% higher than right now. I was pricing them for a year and a half, and used many sources NADA http://www.nadaguides.com/Values/ValueTrim.asp?UserID=520845B43B248&DID=38306&wSec=1&wPg=1205&CategoryId=4&MakeId=1268&Year=1999&ColorId= DuPont Registry Ferrari Market News Letter Sports Car Magazine Called Brokers and Dealers telling them I had a 355 I wanted to trade in and so on. I found that NADA was right on when it came to late model 355's. I feel if you want a low mileage no story 355 spi in red you are still 105k+ even without service. Trust me its worth it. You will love every minute of it. BTW people have been known to drive these things with top up when it gets cold, so I don't think temp has much to do with prices.
