Hi - Search the 348/355 forum for "schedoni luggage" and you'll find a wealth of information. I've never heard of Connolly version but that doesn't mean much. I, myself, have a 5 piece Schedoni set for my F355. The darker, 3 piece set you have a picture of is the normal Schedoni version in the most popular color. The single bag pictured must be the Connolly "color" / version.
Your problem will be that Schedoni is still in business (although a lot of current Ferrari Store leather itmes are not Schedoni) but sadly Connolly is gone...... Both those pics are Schedoni, just different colors.......the top pic is the RH piece in the other photo....
Isn't Connolly a type of tanned leather? While Schedoni is the design house and manufacturer of the end product?
Thank you. well, but there are 3 or 5 F355 Luggage?, do you have photos from the coffer of your F355 with bag ?? I can buy the 3 luggage for 1500$ it is correct?? on the picture closure is different, is it really two different Leather model ? Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
From what I understand, there are 2 sets available for the F355 (3 piece and 5 piece). I've attached a picture of the 2 extra pieces I have - they are stackable when you want to transport them by hand and fit behind the upper part of seats. I'm not 100% certain but I think these 2 pieces may fit better behind the seats on a Spider or even possibly the 348 models. $1,500 USD is a decent price for the 3 piece set. I've seen them for quite a bit more (as high as $2,500 maybe). To be honest, I've never seen the Connolly leather version before you posted the pics. My guess is that they are quite rare and were perhaps meant to color match a certain interior? Image Unavailable, Please Login
Ok Sandy, thank you for your information I'll do this Saturday 4 hour drive to north Switzerland for buy ... for my spider 355 F1, I think the two boxes do not, they are ideal for the Berlinetta(even with a Scaglietti arch), because for the Spider it is the tonneau cover. Have not you picture of your F355 Coffer with three Luggage inside? Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Sorry, no pictures of the luggage in the boot of my car. I was interested to see the picture you posted of the 3 pieces in the boot...that's not how I have stacked them but it looks like it works fine that way too (vertically instead of flat). The shelf behind my seats in the GTS is a little narrower than the Berlinetta - to accomodate stowage of the targa panel. The extra pieces fit but it's a little wonky. From the pic you posted, they should be a perfect fit on a GTB. Enjoy your new luggage - they are beautiful pieces.
I'm quite certain, the 5-piece set was produced for the 348. Pictures from the '80 early '90 shows it. Always thought that for the 355 only a 3-piece set was produces. In these sets "F355" was stamped into the leather of each piece. Anyone got a picture of a 5-piece set with "F355" in it?
Fully unterstand with you,i think the 5 Luggage is only for the 348 ,but not emblem is on the 5 Luggage,is only the Prancing Horse, for the f355 and 355 F1 is the 3 bag only with "F355" stamped into leather. Now we can put these bags in the F355 . Koffer and Interior amenagement is in the same dimensions, now many do. Only one version is different by Schedoni for the 355,the "F355 serie Fiorano" Luggage, less than 100 copies exist in the world because not all owners have Fiorano acquire, 3 Luggage or,I'd love to see a picture from an owner from "Fiorano", so if you have one ...post Image Unavailable, Please Login
Gone but not forgotten! My 348 was first owned by Simon Connolly. Ferrari weren't using their leather at that time, so he sent his own out to the factory to be used in the car. He also asked for the car to be finished in an audi green, which was a step too far! so he settled for grey. After delivery he changed his mind and recoloured the dark blue leather seats a lighter tan. and also fitted an alcantara dash. loved that car!
