    I have a 97' F355. The slow down light intermittently flashes but never stays fully illuminated to put the vehicle into limp mode. Sometimes it comes on after the car is started and driven only a block. Other times it only comes on if the vehicle has been driven 75 miles and above 90mph.

    It's really weird??? Anybody have these types of issues??? I have heard maybe a bad slow down ECU? What do they cost to replace??

    I posted a similar problem a few weeks back. The light went off on its own after normal driving for about 25 miles. The replies to my post suggested that you have it diagnosed with a OBD II; the code will probably show one or more of the 02 sensors as the source. Good luck.

    I get that too, I'm pretty sure from a failed cat ECU. I've also since gone cat-less (after had the light), yet it still comes and goes. I'm ok for 2 yrs until I need to pass emissions again... (this year passed ok with a reset).
