F355 Spark Plug Wires

As long as we are on this discussion of ignition-related stuff, has anyone used the Hitachi or NGK ignition coils instead of the OEM Bosch?

 

I called Walker, and one of the nice ladies from Kingsboure, Chris, is helpful and will tell you what they can and can't make. However, she cannot sell to the general public, and you have to be a Walker reseller. She gave me the name of a guy in LA who she knows who is a Porsche parts guy but is an authorized Walker reseller. The set is the same price as Ricambi. I asked if they would sell the boots separately, and they said they would just sell complete sets. It seems like there is no source for the boots absent buying a set at this point?

There has never been a source for that 355 boot. It seems F355 is the only car using that very boot so there is no incentive for Kingsborne now Walker to sell it individually.
