    Would anybody have an interest in a removable hard top for the F355 spider? A light weight carbon fiber painted same body color of car with a plexiglass rear window. I think with the right design car can look very classic and very desirable collectible in the future. Maybe we can talk to Ferrari and have them design one for us. There were different car makers who made 2 tops for their cars like the Mercedes SL series, the Porsche Boxter and many others why not for the Ferrari? Any ideas or suggestions?

    That thought has crossed my mind before. I really don't think Ferrari will have any interest in being involved with a project like this.

    The idea is a good one, but for me the R&D in a project like this prohibits it from going any further than a thought.

    My roof works perfectly and keeps me dry in the rain. I think I will stick with that.

    +1 ....... A hard top would be good for top speed ......... Though I would assume removal of the entire factory top assembly would be required :( .......it does not seem worth the effort IMO.

    NO CHANCE Ferrari would have anything to do with it! :D:D

    But that doesnt mean someone cannot make one. I am sure it can be done. Would just take time and money......;);)
