    Hello all!

Hopefully a quick question... when I release the lever to start the roof the windows don’t drop for me... I understand this is the micro switch in the top left locater place, but can someone explain how it should be adjusted to be correct?

Also is there a fuse connected to this micro switch or a way of resetting the roof etc?

Many many thanks for your help!

It should be open circuit with the roof clear of the windshield.

No fuse. The wiring goes directly to the Roof Controller and to the Window ECU (via splices). I'm not sure how hard the switch is to remove to adjust and test it.

Do you know where the Window controller is? On my RHD car, it's under the dash on the driver's side of the centre console. It's mounted vertically. It has two plugs. The top plug receives inputs from the striker plate switch "S9" on pins 1 (green wire) and pin 5 (blue wire).

I assume your windows work normally otherwise?

Thank you so much for your reply I will certainly look into that and hopefully if it’s not just an adjustment of the sensor then it’s in there...

    Thank you!

Just a mention; after you unlatch the front of the roof you are supposed to push up and back on the top until you hear a beep. This is while both doors are closed, key on, and park brake applied.

Understood, John, but the windows respond immediately to unlatching (and slight lifting).
