just as expected, evo stock above 80 is toast. properly modded evo, the 355 would have been bye bye. The poor evo has a 2L engine, its trying as hard as it can from the factory and needs a little help from tuners P.S. what evo was it? 8? 9? and what version?
I should hope not, considering a stock IX only makes 290 at the crank. The fact that it hung with a 355 at all, much less pulled it in the bottom end, is quite respectable considering the ~100 horse handicap and greater driveline losses.
