I work 30 seconds away from Salt Lake City Ferrari formerly Stephen Harris Ferrari. It's a great place to work as its never abnormal to hear or see 3 to 4 ferraris a day go down the street. The techs are extremely careful with these cars so rarely do I get to hear one on full tilt. This afternoon someone was test driving a white Cali and had it going flat out. What a disappointment that was. Looked fast but no rumble, scream, or anything really. Was this guy just driving it wrong? 355 sound 100 time better and look great doing it to by the way. A buddy of mine drove one for a year, when we would take our wives out to dinner and fired the cars up in the parking structure, there was no contest. That said, that damn car was sexy and outfitted very well, the tech on that car made me envious, well, at least till I fired mine up. To be fair, he did not have an exhaust upgrade and I was running my 355 with a Tubi.

The California is not supposed to be a screaming ear-bleeding Ferrari. It is meant to be driven every day by a wide verity of people, and as such, it is quite civilized.

No modern Ferrari can sound better than the 355! :)

Simple fact of life, NOTHING has the sound of a 355 at full song.

I don't know about that I just heard a 458 with some kind of exhaust can't remember what it was but I was impressed. It was novalari or something, one of the race inspired exhausts, I will try to find it and post. I have a capristo stage 3 so it takes a lot for me to complement a 458. It was totally diff than the stock.

I think it was the Novotec rosso check it out on you tube.

I test drove the Cali-T two days ago. Nice burble at idle, when the exhaust diverter valve opened, it was OK. But it's a DD. I kept thinking my wife would be happy with the California.

But when I drove my 355 home, I was happier.

I love the way the 458 sounds under load. Californias do not sound very good.

Also, the F12 is insanely loud, even in stock form. The first time I heard one start up in person, I almost dropped my cell phone because I jumped so hard at the bark when the V12 fires up.
