G'day, folks. I just had a closer inspection of my F355 5.2 Spider front spoiler installation after a repaint of the spoiler and it looks like a dogs breakfast.

On the leading edge of the left hand wheel arch, the convex surface of the centre part of the metal gravel guard is stopping the plastic wheel arch liner from sitting flat on the metal guard (more noticeable at the top).

According to various photos online of the metal gravel guard, the centre of it should be convex and projecting aft towards the wheel (but it looks bad).

On the opposite side of the car, the metal gravel guard is concave (and the panels interlock nicely).

However it seems that I have the wrong part fitted for the right hand side (apparently, it should be convex like the left side). I actually have two left hand gravel guards. i.e. two P/N 64110800's instead of a 64110800 and a 64110700.

Would someone be able to check theirs to see how the pieces interlock?

Also, should the lower front gravel guard sit behind or in front of the wheel arch panel?

In its current position, it just seems like it would be a collector of rocks and other debris

    Thanks!
    Cheers
    Ian.
