    I have 1996 f355 with wheel caps I purchased new 5 months ago as replacements for the original. I purchased them OEM from RICAMBI

    Within 6 months these have now cracked.

    Any ideas why they do not last.???

    Hmmm, could yours have been installed with too heavy a hand? I bought a set from RICAMBI about two years ago and I have no cracks or fading of the outer black rings.
    Talk to Daniel and see what he says.

    Im with Hank on this one. I bought some over a year ago and fitted them around 8 months ago. They are still like new and they should last. :):)

    Just a thought, have you done a lot of track days in your 355 Ronald? Perhaps the heat gets into them and cracks them? :):)
    Have all of them cracked mate? Very strange, unless you damaged them putting in and the cracks have only just appeared? :):)

    I am sure Daniel will help you sort it out, he is a good man. :):)

    I think they crack from heat. A friend put new center-caps on his F355 less than a year ago and they were cracked when I saw them this past weekend. That car sees track time, though.

    The yellow center of the wheel cap has cracked....not the ring. The car is never tracked....any ideas????
