I'm getting my wheels refinished, are they supposed to be powder coated or painted?

The wheel guy says all Speedline wheels are powder coated, is it true?

Paint. Youre not supposed to powdercoat magnesium wheels. Speedlines are painted.

Yep get 'em painted. Shouldn't cost much more than $400-500 for all four.

Try Tru Wheel in North Hollywood. Mike fixed a couple of rims for me a few years back that I thought were beyond repair. He's repainted many Ferrari rims.

Get those beautiful italian magnesium wheels away, far away, from your "wheel guy"
He does not know what he is talking about

Dangerous to powder coat these wheels
    High temp can cause fractures

    Seek a knowledgable professional.
This is a thoroughbred high performance motor car not a corvette/viper/ whatev
