I just went to turn on my 360 and it started up fine. I was sitting there for a couple moments letting it warm up and the RPM drastically dropped to the point of almost stalling out the engine.

It then came back and kept going. Then I started to put it in gear and the RPM kept dropping to the point of almost stalling and the check engine light started flashing.

Any ideas of what this could be? Thanks!

don't know what your problem is, but first start by going to a shop & have them put a scan tool on in the generic mode. hopefully it will give you a code plus the code definition. i can put my snap-on scan tool on my 360 & pull some basic codes & basic data, that should lead you to a direction of repair.

Any updates on this problem? Just had exactly the same thing happen this morning - the OP's description is the closest I could find to my problem but I didn't see any clear resolution in the archives. Mine was accompanied by strong fuel smell. I turned off and called dealer immediately - told me best to flatbed it in, sounds serious. Apparently the flashing engine check light is much worse than if it just stayed on. Any insights?

Was told by tech at Ferrari of Orlando that flashing CEL is much more critical than normal CEL. Smelling fuel too! Get it to dealer ASAP. I would strongly advise NOT to drive. Probably nothing major but needs attention! Best wishes to both.

Just an update on this in case anyone else faces the same problem. Turned out to be a relatively minor issue with the engine thermostat. $1200 parts and labor and back running great. Just went for a long drive this morning and she performed beautifully.

I'm glad you've solved the problem. What were the symptoms? How long was the engine idling before the problem arises?
