Some of the plastic (I think it's plastic) parts on the interior of my 2001 F360 are getting a sticky covering on them. The interior door latches and electric window buttons especially. They are sticky to the touch. I drive the car about once a week and keep it really clean.

Yes... I've seen threads now. I (stupidly) posted before looking over previous threads.

However, does it seem normal for these parts to become sticky even though the car is usually kept in an internal garage.

It's unfortunately going to happen.. the soft touch paint degrades over time.. it's just accellerated by heat and humidity. :( You can try the oven cleaner route to remove it, go to stickynomore to have it removed, or even use alcohol to rub it down. The alcohol I've used and it removes the sticky upper layer and exposes the soft touch paint below.

Carbon fiber!!! Updates the look and does not get sticky. My 2 cents:)

Yes. It's just a matter of time. Maybe you'll find comfort in knowing that it affects thousands and thousands of Ferrari owners.

That's what I did as well, and it looks great!
No more sticky gunk in my car until the buttons do it again.
