Jas, how do you pick which one to drive when you want to go for a run...? Is it just an eenie meenie minie moe thing...? Even those cars that are most similar (like maybe the Challenge Stradale and the GT3 RS) - how do you choose...?
Journalists and the photographer who trailed along had much more liberal access to the assembly process in those times. Pictures were not a problem back then. One of the French magazines of the day showed a picture of F40 5 vent style rear engine decks just stacked up in a corner. CH
I've settled on short runs in each...its the only fair way to treat the kids On longer times off, it comes down to route/parking hassle....and sometimes simply which ones are on the lifts and which aren't ! All the best to you in 2009 pal, wish you nothing but success and good health. Sorry for the thread hijack John, love those pictures. I know I posted some other factory shots in the F40 Photos thread you contributed to the other day...I'll go back and see which page...
You're not hijacking at all Here's a vid of the F40 being assembled...pretty cool. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nmFTy6KCDLw
For those interested in F40 assembly pictures (and indeed many pictures of inside of the Factory) I thoroughly recommend Michael Dregni's 1990 book "Inside Ferrari". Jonathan
