Didn't even notice that mod. Will be a small fortune to revert to stock!

    Stewart's F40 was 86746, the 60th car built, a 1990 car.

    Canepa's F40 is 87821, the 113th car built, a 1991 car.

I think this was R Kelley's Car. Sold new in Olympia Fields, Ill (my friend was his neighbor at the time). Either way it was most likely somebody into music- hence the big stereo.

Are you referring to the "alledged" pedophile? I didn't know he ever owned any Ferraris.

Yep, that's him. I think he "peed on a 14 year old girl" or something like that. In accordance with his bad taste goes with butchering a carbon fiber interior..... maybe????

The ownership trail as it relates to F40 87821 that I have on file does not include the aforementioned 'R Kelly'. Do you have something definitive that links him to this F40 in any way?

FWIW, F-Chat's own user "K-Diddy" did the stereo work on Rod's F40 (and took a wild ride or two as well); you can ping him for the scope of work if you're interested.

I have learned some things not about this car but about Canepa design and you could not pay me enough money to buy a car from him. I suggest everybody be VERY careful.

yes I am sorry as well. I am choosing for now not to expose exactly what he did but I say again before anybody buys a car from him be very careful. I would not buy a garbage can from him again.

NYC has integrity and a clear cut case. I for one, appreciate the heads up from a friend and enthusiast looking out for others.
