I was at Knockhill race track in Scotland for the Classic Speed Fair on the 27th of June. This year there was a Ferrari meet, and i would estimate there was around 50 to 60 in attendance including the race cars.

I thought i would share the pic's of the F40 that was there. I had a quick chat with the owner who was an older gentleman who lived on the west coast of Scotland. He said that he had owned the car for around 10 years now ( he also said that his is 1 of 4 or 5 F40's in Scotland) and had a few other cars, including a 550 Maranello that was also at the meet.

I got a picture of the chassis plate for all who are interested. ;)

I was trying to get some "flattering" angles that portray how the car looks to the eye in the flesh :)

I also like this picture taken at distance from the side, with the Cali in front and the 612 behind. It really shows the scale of the f40 compared to the modern stuff.
The F40 looks like a sleek and beautiful weapon of speed next to its bulky, over weight younger sisters.

It looks almost like a 1/2 scale model next to the Cali and 612...

funny picture as I remember my F40 who was not so little, quite large in fact also, but really funny on this pic between the cali and the 612.
Have a look for example on volkswagen polo, today the same size as golf 15 years ago, same with BMW 3 series, same size as 5 series 15 years ago, so the F40 is now to be considered as a "little" ferrari!!
Electronics now is counting for 40% of the price of a "modern" car, not so much electronic in an F40 (excepting injection and ABS).
Is it the right evolution (not speaking about the weight!)?
