So, went to start, dead battery. Upon lifting it out, noted the corrosion to the holder.

    Anyone else experienced this?

1-I believe I recall something about the F40 calls for a vented battery. That said, does anyone use a gel battery? Will a gel or sealed battery help stop this corrosion?

2-What product would you clean this up with? Of course I don't want to cause any harm to the surrounding materials, but looks easy enough to arrest.

3-Can anyone post a picture of a perfect battery compartment?

    Thanks
