A friend of mine wants to trade his F40 doors with the standard roll-up windows for those with the sliding lexan. It's a long shot, but any leads anyone?

If it was me, I'd buy the spare set of doors. that way your friend would have the original car still. IMO seems like a mistake to swap parts.

prob can find set of lexan windowed doors....

    Anyone have any leads...

Dream on!.... The plexi window doors are only available on the 88 and some 89 European F40s. They are very rare. I purchased a set about 5 years ago from the UK. They are quite expensive. Most all of the F40' were delivered with roll up windows. The best thing to do is to make them yourself using a window kit from demon tweeks in the UK. It is not that difficult. Might cost a couple of grand to have it done. The windows are very uncomfortable in hot/humid climates since the AC is marginal. You are better off staying with the std. doors.

While I agree, I wouldn't evere want the plexi windows, the A/C in my car is very strong. blows colder than any other car I've had.
