    Does anyone have a list of which engine numbers were fitted to which chassis?

    I have an engine (and gearbox) and would like to trace it back, confidentially.

    I anyone has a list of engine numbers that corresponds to F40 serial numbers, I would love to see that list! Sadly, I don't think something like that exists outside of the factory. I don't suppose you can tell us the engine number...? It's going to be a bit difficult to narrow down the serial numbers into which your engine's number would fall, because a lot of the engine numbers are scattered and jump around.

    77181 has engine 11595; 78444 has 12687; 78622 has 12686; 80705 has 10370; 84574 has 12682, and so forth.

    That a shame.... My previous experience with other Ferraris is that you tell them your chassis and engine number and then they confirm if it's correct or not, but give out no info on what the engine number should be.

    The engine is being shipped at the moment, due UK 10th July. I won't know the number myself till then.
