Saw these on Ferrari of New England's home page - F40 with 201 miles, F50 with 230 and an Enzo with 274. I've seen them sitting in their front windows for quite a while along with a 288 GTO they have. Man has that place been getting some unique cars lately. It's a shame these cars weren't driven, but a cool collection (to me) nonetheless.

Not trying to be mean, unwelcoming, or unthankful.. :)

But, these three have been discussed heavily in multiple threads. Not new. :(

Still, +1! Ferrari of NE is fantastic. They've had some awesome cars come through, and are a class act (in my experience, anyway).

    ''Yes, it's true!''

    ''Wow...how where they to drive?!''

''I'll be ****ed if I know...they never moved!''

Well thanks for saying it like a gentleman and not like the forum gestapo! I remembered seeing a thread about a collection a while ago but I thought that was at FoLI with a Benz CLK GTR and F40 F50 Enzo with more miles. Sorry for the repost anyhow.

That's a great perspective Armen! Perhaps not the popular one, but a great one nonetheless.

I think some people forget that there are many Ferrari enthusiasts who are very happy that every Ferrari Supercar out there doesn't have 95,000 miles on it! Some of those people are going to church lighting candles & praying that some "delivery mileage" cars remain so that when they have their millions lined up, they can have a chance at a "new" Ferrari Supercar!

I think some people forget that most who own these low-mileage Ferraris have other priorities & are too busy doing what they do that afforded them in the first place, to drive them, much as they wish this was not the case.

I think some people also forget that said collectors who keep these low-mileage cars may in fact doing a wonderful job preserving them for posterity for all Ferrari enthusiasts (complainants included) and in fact should be commended!

I think some people forget that there are MANY Ferrari Supercars that are driven very regularly indeed all over the country and in fact all over the world.

In a democratic land of free-thinkers, who is to tell someone what to do with their property, once they own it?

We can all agree that it is lamentable that a Ferrari sits unused, but it gets a bit old, notably presumptuous, and sounds completely futile stating over & over that person xyz is not driving "their" Ferrari.

I think some people forget that how they feel & what they say has about zero bearing upon the use (or lack thereof) of a certain Ferrari, and the only thing that can change the aforementioned situation would be if they were fortunate enough to be afforded the opportunity & have the means to purchase said Ferrari and change the way it is used.

All that said, thank goodness there are still some low-mileage Ferrari Supercars!

But Grandad, why didn't you spend it on a Picasso or google shares, I'd have been a billionaire!

Sorry, if it has an engine and wheels it's meant to be driven. Don't care for ''art'' cars.

Who knows, perhaps it might be: "Grandad, thank goodness you didn't spend it on a boring Picasso or useless Google shares, the Ferraris are worth ten times as much!"

    Hey, anything's possible :)

On a more specific note, crowing that they are "meant to be driven" is quite redundant, because the fact is that they ARE driven, to some extent, even if it is only 172, 200 or 300 miles!! Its unfortunately just not enough to make YOU happy according to your preconceived notion of exactly what schedule of use the aforementioned car should have.

Who says every object should be used to the same extent? When you think about it in those terms, lamenting its lack of use is pretty futile, and I suggest a more positive viewpoint of celebrating its preservation. IMHO people who repeatedly complain about the lack of use of other people's cars come off as quite narrow-minded, and with all due respect, its really a little ridiculous - not to mention, bad form. I mean really, don't we have more important things to complain about than what other people are NOT doing?

On the other hand, complaining that one does not have the time to use one's OWN car is another matter entirely, and is quite acceptable.
