Just picked this up off of eBay for my grandson for Christmas, 22 years old and in mint condition. Seems a shame for it to start getting a beating but it is a toy.

    Cool !

Out of curiosity, what did it cost ?

Does it have a motor (electric) or is it pedal powered ?

A bit of a bargain as it cost $70 aud but needs two new batteries which were $70. Two speed electric motor with reverse and hand brake and upgradable to three speed with additional motor. Oh and a horn and movable seats

Obviously thats a US model since the drivers side is on the Left (correct), so you should send it to me immediately.

    Great find!!!

My daughter, who will be 18 in February, had this car toy when she was about 2 years old. She wore out the controller and I rebuilt it with one from another toy so she could keep driving it. After she out grew it I put it in the garage. It is still there, if it stops raining this week end I think I'll take it down, park it next to the Dino and shoot some pictures for the forum.

I always loved the F40, but also always wanted to see the cabriolet form of the Supercar. I guess this is it. Really cool.

    Just noted this post:

Unless it was once the Sultan of Brunei's, then surely all F40's should be LHD, US market or not!

As to LHD being the "correct" side - Really?

RHD must really be the correct side because it is the "right" hand drive! ;)

Be Careful, being it's a 'replica' you're sure to catch hell from some of the forum :)
I squeezed a 12v trolling motor battery into my grandsons jeep - wheel stands and burned thru the plastic tires in no time.
