F40 French Introduction LE Print

In 1987 or 1988, while in America a French artist (a friend of a relative) gave me this Artist Proof of the limited edition print below. At the time he said he had been commissioned to create it by the Ferrari Club of France to commemorate the introduction of the F40. At the time he told me that it represented the F1 roots of the F40. I have never seen another one and do not know anything else about it. Does anyone know the name of the artist or have any information about it?
