I fitted the Tubi LM pipes to my non-cat F40 and it is running seriously rich. The boost was set correctly so there is no over boost but the tailpipes are black and sooty.

What are my options for getting the fuelling right on the car? I was thinking of putting it on motec for safety as much as anything else, I want it properly monitored and looked after.

Motec is by far your best option for the money. I would argue Bosch is better but almost double the price. Motec will definitely add a lot of fail safes to keep that priceless engine safe when properly setup as well, something that will easily pay for itself in the long run.

Although I do not recommend this at all your cheapest option is to adjust the fuel pressure on the dyno to get as close to ideal as possible.

I'm with you, with the car coming up for its 25th birthday i'd like all the fail safes to protect it that Motec offers especially running all that old turbo technology, fuelling etc.
