Hi guys It´s incredible. I saw the last week, is for sale. The sound is very incredible. Regards!!! Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
ok, ok, it seems that it's not a GTE, front, wing, ... not having the full GTE specs. Anyway, do you have some more details, such as VIN/serial number, full specs (engine at the large intercoolers are a good starting point), requested price,... Can you get also interior pics? web site address? ...
odd mix? looks like someone was customizing thier f40 to have some gte/lm like details gte/lm like: swaybar, straight tower-brace but angled-in towers, silver painted chassis, diffuser add-ons, adjustable rear wing added, dual fuel ports, vented rear side lites, single cross brace & upgraded intercoolers but yet has upgraded shocks/springs, a standard f40 rear bonnet, and what appears to be an american nose/front lip & why a sparco drivers seat? (original worn/torn maybe?)...front + rear covers have standard latches besides chassis being repainted at some point (to silver) the body has definitely been resprayed, note the body color of belt-line & missing pininfarina badge, and of course roof antenna...also might be some over-spray under the rear bonnet, and cabin-air intake on nose have screens painted over-spray as well that's what i noticed anyways! i'll wager this car has spent some time in japan...just my IMO OP should be able to get a clean pic of VIN off the steering column easily enough...
looks like a RSK spyder has unique fender vents and aero boot looks like a M-B SLR beside that Image Unavailable, Please Login
agreed, it's also missing the small naca ducts along bottom edge of side/running boards, i think despite the straight engine brace and silver frame paint, it's standard F40 vs. GTE or LM based a VIN would tell for sure
do you mean that this one, like the one in link, started as a GTE/LM frame? i was thinking it was just a repainted oem F40 chassis...it's missing the gte/lm X-brace too...but maybe? the most telling piece of the car starting this thread seems to be the straight-bar engine-brace, but i know i've seen a black frame street production F40 with same ...odd mix for sure LOL
No, this one, paul/joe macari car started as a normal stradale F40 in US before being rebuilt as a LM/GTE specs, and no link at all with the car presented here in this thread, excepting some LM specs or modifications. Can you get some more info on this one?
my bad...the opening of paragraph in link reads as if they started with a LM chassis base, looks like it too the OP apparently is going to get a VIN# and post yet Image Unavailable, Please Login
real good thanks maybe someone, like Joe, can check this for "the story" LOL my bet is still on some time spent in japan LOL ;-)
It seems that what the sales manager of Autocorporatione was calling "F40 michellotto" is already sold (this is what he said in his last email), they still have a "normal" F40 for sale at 425 000 euros, not the same story.
so was it the one in the OPs pics was he advertising as a GTE or production? which one is the vin ZFFGJ34B000079922?
In any case this F40 was never a GTE or LM, this was what the sales manager called a "michellotto" F40, normal stradale F40 with some enhancement such as body and mechanical upgrades, sold! So I think that the VIN supplied is related to the "normal" f40 for sales at 425 000 euros (quite expensive in europ even with few thousands km) in this shop.
