Nothing good about a fake Ferrari. Nothing at all. Might as well build yourself a replica Civic.

We should move this thread, here I am, thinking a CIA agent was driving a F40 and impounded it. :(

How are they asking that much money for it. My 01' Protege isn't even worth 3k anymore and it has <40k miles on it.

For what it is, it is very well done. Kind of a bargin too, for 10% of the price, it brings maybe 15% of the respect of the real thing.

Actually, funny thing (I think), that's not an F-40 clone (even though it has Ferrari badges - silly), but a Zender Fact 4 clone!

I had to look at it long and hard before it clicked, and for a moment I thought it could be real, and maybe I should buy it, bring it to the U.S. and covert it back to a proper Zender...but alas, it's a kit based on the Zender, and the proportions are off (nose/rear too long). But the sides/front of the car are a Zender Fact 4 design.

    Boy - I'm showing my rare/on-off car dorkiness :D

I was going to say the same thing and show off my dorkiness too. That thing is a dead ringer for the Fact-4.

In its' defense one could argue that the Zender itself looks like a bad kitcar.

Taking it one step further, one could also argue that the Zender is in fact a bad kitcar.

The Fact 4 was one of a series of IMO overkitted one-offs (Audi engine, etc.) to promote Zender's body cladding business, which, when you boil it down, is essentially a kitcar business...

...so the one above is a kitcar based on another kitcar with the wrong branding altogether. That's rich. :)

I would recommend that you don't buy that Alfa Romeo ... seriously. I've been restoring one for 20 years and it had less rust than that one!
