    In search of credible & detailed data sources pertaining to the F40 as a collectible and it's value. I'm interested in knowing everything from how many were produced and how many are still in existence to grading their monetary value (based on mileage, year condition etc).
    Also like to know how repairs impact their value as well. (ie body work, new paint, replacement parts etc)

    How credible or detailed is the data about F40s in this section ? It might then be worth reading the existing threads

    You might find however Wikipedia and/or Google a more trustworthy way to find out everything

    Doing both. There seems to be educated members here on the existing threads with tons of knowledge. However you see a lot of disagreements and / or different views. I appreciate your response.

    200+ U.S./1300+ worldwide. Some are gone. Plenty to go around. '92's more valued (though not sure there's any difference). Mileage also matters (see thread re: gambit on this). Originality is valued re: parts, paint, bodywork and so forth, as is having all original sundries present.

    See Joe re: current price range - vast and varied, based upon mileage/originality (maybe he'll do a Forty book when he wraps up his 288 manifesto?!).
