I recently bought a Larini system for my Boxer and I've been writing back and forth to David Clark at their office in England.

They just completed an installation on an F40 and he sent me this video clip to check it out.

I would love to hear what it sounds like on the track or open road.

Magnifico! I'm listening to Carmina Burana and the F40 sounded exquisite with the chorus and solo voices.

Who sells Larini in the States? Do they have a site? And for that matter, who is Larini, and do they make a full range of exhausts for Ferraris, 360s, 575s, et al?

    Forza,

They don't have a US distributor, yet.

Maybe I should become one? :)

    Here's their site:

I believe they can make an exhaust for just about any model of Ferrari.

Many thanks. That sound is distinct, deeper and more baritone than Tubi and Capristo, but still shrieking and singing arias like Ferraris should.

I just looked at the site. How beautiful is it that they have an exhaust for E-types? That must be gorgeous.
They should post sound clips. It is by far the best advertising for the web.

    Forza,

Do Larini exhausts have bigger pipes then the Tubi or Capristo exhaust?

Nice clip.. Reminds me of when I went out in an F40 with the LM Competition Set-up.. Awesome.

Notice the way that guy was downshifting.. The gears were NOT evenly matched when shifting down gears... He was not matching the revs.. thats why can hear that double rev..Am I right..?

Those downshifts sound pretty ok to me - all things considered.

It ain't the easiest thing to do whilst trying to claw your way back from the back of the grid!!

Yes.. they are ok, but I have seen better.. I still respect the driver for the skills he has as I know an F40 aint the easiest things to drive on the limit.
