    You know it's interesting to see that there is an aftermarket system that can be applied to the F40. This obviously means there is some demand for this. I mean without an adjustable suspension, unless you only use the car on the track, its just no fun scrapping the front everywhere you go. That is obviously why Ferrari made one for this car in the first place. I have always maintained that the adjustable suspension car is the more desirable car to have and I stand by this. Of course as far as I am aware they didnt offer this in the US cars.

    I think some people have been put off this because of some reliability issues. However if you install the "fix" for this, as mentioned in another thread, then they really are very reliable and also make road driving much more practical and pleasant.

    He's transferring some weight to the front for better turn-in to the the corner, while keeping revs and power up for the exit.

    What's the hole in the floor above clutch pedal - is that the actual steering linkage you see?Linkages moving in time with steering input

    So that you match the engine speed to the transmission or else you can potentially lock the rear wheels by down shifting; it's the same principal on the newer F1 transmissions.

    I'm not sure. In fact when you drive an F40 you can feel the linkage moving with your toes if they stray up there!
