I hope that this isn't a re-post. Sensational driving. [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AiQ3PyTDkj0&feature=relmfu[/ame]
you should have seen Mark Noske driving mine around Phillip Island 1m 29s. 330 Kph down the bottom of the straight
Have you seen this guy in Croatia in an Enzo? He has nuts the size of water melons! [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YK5R8jnuLZ0[/ame]
Its ok in the F40, his lines are a bit off in big bend, esses, and hes on partial throttle at the downhill
Lol, I've done enough racing to know when someone is having a go. Did you hear 5th bouncing off the limiter? And to get pole plus wins clearly defines the drivers ability. Well done Mike - Nice driving!
I've done 1000s of laps at Lime Rock. I'll put any of these babys up against his F40LM anyday and show him the fast way around Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Thank you! Yep I heard it. I started the weekend with taller rear Pirellis then made a switch to shorter Michelins, so the car was rev'ing faster with the smaller tires. With the Pirellis it wasn't redlining down the front straight, so when we made the switch and put the Michelins on I was a bit caught off guard with how quickly it was rev'ing. After quali I realized what was happening and just had to back off towards the end of the straight.
Here's a vid I took from outside of the car, same day/event/location. [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2LazO-clAOc[/ame]
OK so at least you aren't an armchair expert like most are on the net. I don't know Lime Rock so I can't question the gentlemans lines. All I do know for sure is that it would be 10 times harder to driver a rear wheel drive, turbo charged, F40 LM worth $1m around a race circuit with all types of exotic vintage & modern vehicles and string a good lap together. BTW - do you have your best certified lap time for Lime Rock?
