Is this car for sale again? I think that's an old listing before it sold on to Aus.

Sheehan doesn't have the car. It is sitting in MM's showroom exactly where it has done for the past 8 months or so.

And no, it can't be road registered b4 anyone goes there again..........

    GTE for sure. 100%.

Heck, I'd even take a regular F40 over an Enzo.

In Austraila? I think it might be a little easier for the US since it started out as a US F40.

Since I went there the first time (when I believed the car was in the US as it was listed by Sheehan)...

As this car was originally a US spec street car, which was later modified, It CAN be registered in the US in a state without inspection (Florida for example). I am not suggesting it is a sensible thing to do.... Just that it can be done. It certainly wouldn't make it up my driveway! My street F40 barely clears.

85015 is NOT one of the genuine factory F40 LMs but a later modification of a standard production road F40 by Michelotto.

I thought that all F40 GTE conversions were done by Michelotto.

It is listed as one of the genuine GTE's to the best of my knowledge. Not one of the original LM's though as you say.
One of the GTE's with the most extensive race history # 74045 started out life as one of the F40 prototypes.

I guess it is possible if there was no inspection involved. The car would be totally undrivable on the street I can assure you.

I'm sure you right. likely due to both performance/tuning issues as well as grond clearance.

Just so everyone understands, I only raised the issue as a technical/legal point! I was never suggesting someone buy it and use it as a street car.

GTE for sure. At least 500 lbs lighter than an Enzo and crushing power, not to mention numerous other upgrades. Perfect (scary/exciting) track car.

How much does this car weigh? Compared to the LM, and regular F40?
