Chassis 001 was the original development mule, which was sold to Art Zafiropoulo who still owns the car and first displayed it at the 1997 Rodeo Drive Concours. It is the same car Ron Kimball shot outside of the San Franciso Ferrari dealer for the article in Cavallino 100. After being paraded at track days for several years, Porsche factory driver Johannes Von Overbeck badly crashed the car at Sears Point with cold tires. Ferrari willingly took to car back for repair and, after a year, completed 001 to even more radical specification than standard. Much to Art's surprise, Micheal Schumacher tested the repaired car, and even signed the dashboard! The repaired car debuted at the 2004 Monterey Historics at Laguna Seca where the F50 GT completed many successful laps. Unfortunately, Art lost control during acceleration after the last turn onto the straight and stuffed the nose of the car into the wall. Art nor the car were seriously hurt, but 001 will once again need repair
Ok. then ... My bad and i'm so sorry for that.. Bad informed.. Althought very interesting story of 001.... Thanks for sharing..

It is thus F40 LM which had a French ower and which in summer insurant in France between 1994 and 1995, I cannot say to you with certainty its number of chassis at the moment, you did not see the plate a builder which is fixed to the steering column?

It was the last evolutions appropriate for the first two F40 LM (79890 and 79891) the only ones to have participated in races, later 88520 (F40 LM commanded by Jean Blaton " Beurlys ") was equipped during his manufacturing of air outlets on wings, 19 made cars, they are these chassis three who have these air outlets

I know these cars, you know that I do not appreciate the conversions but the white F40 in the black wheels is attractive, on the other hand F40 of Linders is really missed, it would have better made of step touch it!
Yes i know.. It looks very fantastic.... Although in Linders car i don't like the bad taste wheels, the rear diffuser, the front splitter, the canards. the .., the.., ... :-(
That can is amazing, but apparently some owners do not measure the chance which they have to have F40 in their garage...
