Which one was here for sale (are all photos of the same car?) http://962.com/other_racing_cars/1990_Ferrari_F40GTE/index.htm
Those photo's have been on that site for a LONG time. I suspect that it is also 88779; but it's a bit hard to tell definitively.
It's a team ENNEA car, for sure. You would need to see an interior shot to determine if it has the X-Trac gearbox or not. If it is the old LM dog box then it's 88779. The other 2 had the X-TRAC when they ran with EVO 2 bodywork.
This car was yellow from 1997-2004. Saw the car (yellow) in 2000 without engine in Shopping Mall Jacobins in Le Mans.
Yes, it was advertised for sale in bits when it was yellow. I presume the current owner bought it and painted it red. Michelotto also did an engine rebuild during current ownership. The car has had a lot of money spent on it to get it to it's current state.
Does anyone have more pics of the cars when raced in FFSA GT 1997/1998? Raced by Schreiber and Jakubowski. The nose now is a little different as when raced by Ennea, reason?
When the car was for sale (painted yellow) it had a picture of a spare front clip that came with it. That clip must have been from # 74045 as it was painted in the distinctive "PILOT" colour scheme (French Blue). I suppose this could be the clip it was restored with?
Does anyone have motor specs comparing the 2.9, 3.5 and 3.6? Is the displacement difference bore, stroke or bore and stroke? How about compression differences and turbo differences? Thanks!
I/m building a modelcar (BBR) of the F40 GTE (IGOL colors) LM 1996. But I need more pics of this car at Le Mans 1996. 90001 or 82404
Hi Tubi thanks a lot for sharing these pictures. Any idea about the s/n of the 550 GT we could see on your first pic on the backround?? Thanks Thierry
Looks like it externally; but something doesn't look right in the engine bay. Have a look at the size of the wastegate on # 74045 in the attached photo. The car on the link has 2 really small wastegates? Image Unavailable, Please Login
