JD Car = 97893 (Build #18), which was sold @ Quail last year. This is another never-raced vehicle Back on market at substantial premium to previous sale price; will be interesting to see what value the car goes out at.
To be fair to them, the LM looks like a consignment sale and it is hard to argue with an owner's price expectation for such a rare car, although one does wonder about the speed with which this car has returned to market and thus the motivation for the purchase in the first place. Ferrari's have become an investment of and in themselves, which is either a positive or a negative depending on where your enthusiasm, net worth and current ownership sits. In this case, I wish they were a lot cheaper, but that is a whole other topic. That this car has <200 miles on it and has never raced in anger feels a terrible waste to me.
and with the wrong rear wheels. Ferrari F40 LM LHD - JD Classics Bring a car to Retromobile or Qail Auction and not putting the right rims on such a car.....not good.

Hi guys just curious about this F40 in my hometown many places and news sites have been referring to this as a GTE as you will also see on the title of the video, however i believe its an LM would i be correct in thinking that it is? And what the chassis is it?
If I recall correctly, It was one of the (27?) F40s that were upgraded to LM/GTE spec with Michelotto parts by private teams (Hamann, in this case). Been a while since I've checked Traveller's restoration thread, so my infos might be off.
