Old School timing strobe lamp :) Haven't seen one of those in a long time.

    Congratulations, you're nearing the end.

Agree that the pipe stands out for the wrong reason. I like the way it goes to the tank on the comparison photo. Also if the pipe went under the air inlet it would be close to hidden and would look better.

Saying all this we are really talking about a car that is so stunning elsewhere that any little thing stands out

Thanks for all the feedback on the oil tank and we will leave it polished and it can dull with age, but I agree on the routing which is less than satisfactory as a result of having air filters and you have confirmed an unease in the recesses of my brain and so we are looking at it.

Meanwhile, rear windows etc back in place.

I am betting the solution will be well thought out and engineered, in a field full of poppies its the one tulip sticking out, lovely on its own but sort of out of place in its surroundings :)

Me neither. I have huge wheel and tyre envy!

Tim, mine also runs on M880, I've absolutely no idea how easy it is to start mapping with a 'blank' map or if you have a suitable base one already, if not you are welcome to copy mine as a starting point.

Thanks for that and yes there will be a video both as is now and when really finished. As far as I am concerned I am happy for it to travel and be used provided I don't have to pay to ship it, so if it is wanted in the States, start passing the hat around.

Thanks for the offer but we do have a couple of LM's running Motec with these turbos so we do have a baseline.

Will there be a video soon.............?

That is only on the ramp, dyno yet to come.

Have just completed a gentle two hour break in session,n limited to 1400 revs, and so far so good, minor leaks all resolved and so next week we load up a 'transient map' and get some more revs on.

After our two hour check run, MT dismantled the turbos just to check no detritus from the Zircotec saga and that we had cleaned the manifolds out properly. All good.

Did you ever get any resolution from Zircotec on the amount of time and money you spent on fixing the issues with the residue?
