I like the ultra rare "Firebird' body kit on that F40. Is that a Novitec component? I like the carpeting covering up the engine... very detailed. It took me a minute to realize it wasn't an actual Pontiac. ;-)
That's a replica of course it won't be the same price as the others, did you not see that? or are you trying to advertise it?
It doesn't look like a Ferrari because it's not supposed to be a Ferrari replica. Poor dumb bastard doesn't even know what he has. It's a Tojan aftermarket body kit for third-gen Firebirds. They made about 300 of them. It's quite a curiosity in the Pontiac world. Not a popular curiosity, however.
Not far from me, but a little misleading. That's a "Tojan" (and it's mentioned there), which was made by a company called Knudsen. It's not a kit per se, you actually purchased it as is, and some of them had modified motors (Gale Banks tuned / turbos, etc). It was never positioned as an "F40" clone. Looks like junk, but just to clarify...
If memory serves, it wasn't sold as an aftermarket kit - you purchased the car complete. I actually have an ad somewhere that shows it with pricing ($20K or so).
No Kidding, but as an added bonus- IT'S A HATCHBACK!! LOL!! "REMOVABLE TINTED GLASS T-TOPS FOR THE OPEN AIR CONVERTIBLE FEELING, WITHOUT A CLOTH TOP TO WORRY ABOUT"... BLAH HAHAHAH!!
Thats pretty horrid. I own a Third Generation Firebird and this is an atrocity committed toward that car. PDG
Scroll to the bottom and look at the other "Cars You May Also Be Interested In." Something tells me whomever buys the Firebird is not in the market for one of those others.
This is a lesson to all. This is what happens to value if you don't keep records and lose the toolkit.
