Yeah! Love those F-40s, even if they're not as rare as the 288, or as fast as the 430. There's just something RAW, almost otherworldly about them.

I'm amazed that there are even that many in Japan, let alone that they all got together at the same time!

LOL, what? They are much quicker and faster then the F430. Do some research! Hell a member on here said it was quicker then his Porsche CGT! And look in the Super Ferrari section for the thread of the F40 beating up on a Lambo Murc!

    I have done some research:

Okay, the F430 has 490 HP and weighs 3351 lbs. www.seriouswheels.com/cars/top-2005-Ferrari-F430-Spider.htm

The F-40 has 478 HP and weighs 2976 lbs. www.diseno-art.com/encyclopedia/vehicles/road/cars/Ferrari_F-40.html

I should have said, "The F430 has more horsepower." I've not seen them race, but the numbers suggest that it would be close. I've also seen reports that say the 430 handles better, but I'll defer to your experience since you've driven both.

Before you get your feelings all hurt, I did say that I prefer the F-40 anyway. ;)

It's all good, the Euro spec F40 weighs about 2700 pounds. The USA spec does weigh about 200 pounds more. The F40 and F430 both have about the same power (F430's actually have 483 SAE horsepower). The F40 has a much better power to weight ratio. It weighs HUNDREDS of pounds less.

I can see loving them more than Toyotas and Hondas. . .Still, that's an amazing number of F-40s in one place!
