It's a highly molested example of an F-40, so if your looking for a collector car this is not it. It's a great cantidate for a driver. But you may have a hard time finding all the original parts to repair the car from it's molested state.

Nice looking car, modified by Michelotto the same people who built most of the racing F40's, so it'll come with some desirable recipts / history of the mods
Yes it's not the same as it rolled out of the factory but all the upgrades are the bit's most people who own and drive these cars do (better brakes, different turbos etc etc) to make them a little better than they left the factory

"When new, the engine was sent to Michelotto and its power tuned up. The car has a sport exhaust, LM brakes, adjustable sport suspension, OZ magnesium wheels, carbon airbox, 4-point seat belts. Most interestingly, "

"it has never been raced or even driven on a track."

It depends on what the intended use is. If it's a driver, it's a great example. It does read to have been sitting for a few years. So at best, there's some prep work ahead. Or better clarification from the seller.

    But as a concours entrant....nope.

Not harsh at all. I guess we need some idea what the OP wants to do with a potential F40 purchase.

Well. I don't want to buy it but since the F40 LM I saw last week in Houston I am very amazed of the F40.

This depends a lot on where it was built as if it was actually built in Italy its worth a lot more than if it was built in the US
