    I recently saw a 1990 Ferrari F40 on the Petersen Automotive Museum's website, and I noticed its seats have a unique red upholstery design with horizontal stripes (a tufted/ribbed pattern). I’ve attached an image for reference. I haven’t seen this particular upholstery style on European-spec F40s. Does anyone know if this striped upholstery design was exclusive to North American F40s, Any insights or historical info would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
