This video was from the great Dyno day at KTR. On the third runup the F40 acceleration was faster then the dyno could spin up and the result .... well good thing it was restrained properly. Thought you all might like to see this.

It looks like the car wasn't secured properly, it shouldn't have been able to move nearly that much. Wrong car for a portable dyno.

Actually you couldn't see from the photo but it was a very expensive 4 wd fixed system brand new and very very nice. They immediatly added extra straps and the car was not in danger, it just was an interesting video. Btw, the car was in a closed dyno room and the sound is still awesome.

They had straps on that? Was this the first time the dyno operator even ran the dyno? The wheels were not near center of the drum. That's very dangerous.

Its a Dyno Dynamics Dyno - there are two rollers and the wheels of the car sit in between them.

Not sure of the HP and Torque numbers. If anybody saw them please post.

Just a note to all. Enjoy the video for just what it is. These guys run dyno tests everyday, they know what they are doing. The equipment is top notch. You cant see the whole environment so just watch the video and enjoy seeing the awesome capability F-40 in action.

    Fred,
Thanks for taking the time to post a cool video. The guys at KTR know what they are doing with their dyno. My car has been on that dyno too, but it didn't have enough power to do that!!
