If you had your choice, would you chooze the F40 or Enzo. I Enzo is quicker, but the F40 seems to be more of a pure race car. There may have been another thread on this, but I am new to Fchat, and i want to get my name out there.

Good question. I guess another question is what you're going to use it for. F40 seems to be the more "fun" track car (rawer drive).

Either way, my vote is for the Enzo. No concrete reason, just like the Enzo better

I hear ya.... you don't really hear of to many drivers taking their F40 for a spin in the city, but you can catch the Enzo around town every once in a while

Enzo. Latest and greatest, faster than the F40, beautiful to my eye. Easy choice. The F40 is an amazing car, I love it, but it has a bit of an old tech feel.

I'd opt F40, for three reasons:

    1) lighter
    2) analogue rather than digital
    3) you can turn the screws and pump up the boooooooooooost

Of course this contradicts all my previous posts on the subject, but that's how I feel today. ;)

the enzo is a wonderful car but the guy that was comissioned by ferrari to write a book about the enzo compares all the special ferraris 288 f40 f50 enzo and finally the mclaren he concludes that some are faster stop better ect but calls the f40 the greatest road car ever and that nothing before or after the f40 compares

    That's a hard question.
If I were forced to choose, it would be an F40.
It's just so raw and uninhibited.

Enzo, but difficult to choose between the two. Although I think if you can afford the Enzo the F40 is something you can get with ease, in addition to the Enzo or when you buy an Enzo already have the F40.

I think that I would have to go with the Enzo, but the F40 is close behind. The only real big problem with the Enzo is that it isn't a manual, but I am not dissing the paddles I just prefer the stick and clutch.

For me, F40 by miles... I can't express the how or why - it just "is." The F40....well....it's the F40!

(reminds me of the scene from "The Rock" where Nick Cage is talking to Sean Connery in the interrogation room, fumbling and bumbling over his words. He finally spits out, "Well I'm Stanley Goodspeed!"

    "Of course you are.")

That's the F40 to me...it just IS. There was no "F30" or "F25". It was the 288GTO. The F40 was the first of its kind, and IMO, the only.

Pure, raw, sexy, sleek, bold, outrageous, elemental, ideal....these are the words that come to mind when I think about the F40. I have the ultimate respect and admiration for the technological advancement of the Enzo Ferrari - its capabilities are nearly unmatched. That doesn't change the fact, however, that it is little more than a "Look what we can do with F1 technology," car to me. The F40, on the other hand, is a benchmark. A gold standard, if you will.

The car against which ALL others are measured.

As much as I love the Enzo, the F40 is a beast!
I'll also go with the F40.

If the value is of no concerned the F40 definitely. Enzo is great with all its technology and performance but I guess F40 is raw and very 'Ferrari'!

    Typical answer:

I would take an Enzo, then I would sell it and buy an F40. With the rest of my money I would do track events at Road Atlanta, Sebring, Road America etc. and just pay for all the related expenses.

EVO? Didn't that come out between the GTO and F40? Not much to look at but the stats make the F40 look like a smaller brother getting a beat down from brother home from college football.
