No, you could not bring any car you wanted. The car had to be a classic Ferrari and all cars had to be classiche red book certified. No modern/newer Ferraris allowed. Marcel Massini
I think what you're really trying to say in a very roundabout way is, he brought his 80766 to the party because he wanted to show the world that the F40 is undervalued Seriously, in August of this year in an interview with ProSport website, Piero Ferrari was asked about his favorite Ferraris: 'One of his favorite cars is the Ferrari SF 90 Stradale. The reason would be that it is the first hybrid Ferrari. The second car is a Ferrari 275 GTB. “Why? Because my father gave it to me to drive when I was 18 years old. So I had a driving license so I went to a dinner with friends in a Ferrari GTB” says Piero Ferrari' By the way if you're wondering why so many F40s are coming out this year to events, perhaps it's because 2022 is the 35th Anniversary of the 1987 launch of the car so this seems like a good year to bring them out. I found an image of Piero Ferrari behind the wheel on the Cavalcade, car Number 1 just as alps said. Image Unavailable, Please Login
I agree with that, what I find cool is regardless of who he is, a 78 year old man drove his F40 for 3 straight days in a rally.

Does anyone know which is the F40 that participated or was going to participate in the "Supercar Rally 2003? 18 Jean Paul RICHARD Ferrari F40 I can't find photos...
There were two F40s participating in the 3rd Supercar Rallye Geneva to Biarritz on 25-28 September 2003. One was yellow and the other one red. One had race number 14 and the other one number 3. No F40 with number 18 there. Besides other marques a total of 13 Ferraris participated. I personally attended this event. Marcel Massini Image Unavailable, Please Login
Is it known which was the F40 owned by Mr. Jean-Paul Richard, of French origin...? He was in 1993 with an F40 on the island of Lanzarote (Spain) for 40 days, in a local newspaper they interviewed him and he said that he owned another 6 Ferraris in addition to several Lamborghini and Porsche, he said that he lived in the center of Paris.
There’s a pink F40 at Sema Show this week: Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Credits to Vinnie Anouchian on Facebook. Any more info about this one? First time see or a well-known one?
This is a project by Boden Autohaus, a company specializing in customizing high-end cars. This F40 has undergone a number of modifications. Such as: a custom titanium exhaust system by Boden Autohaus, centre-lock BBS E88 wheels with Toyo Tires R888R tires and new suspension, a KW Competition kit with KW's hydraulic lift system (HLS). This F40 was also on display during Sema 2021. Back then, this F40 was wrapped in white.
Is it the red one from Japan that was last in the UK before heading to the states? as it had the same wheels.
Ferrari is sure to love this Was it wrapped in white as recently as August 2022? I saw a white F40 with a Boden Autohaus windshield decal that week.
Someone with more money than sense! its only a temp thing though luckily, I doubt it was a cream of the crop example anyway.
Hello, here are a few photos from a 2022 car event in Blatná, Czech Republic. Very rare car here... probably only 3–4 F40s in Czech Republic. I have seen F40 for a second time in my life (and for the first time with an engine running ). Still hope I could get a ride in F40 someday. Martin. Not sure about the VIN number, but I think the owner is from Prague. From what I have heard, the SuperCarService (local car dealer in Prague) recently acquired two F40s. Plexiglass (this one, already has an owner) and non-plexi (currently been restored).
The plexiglass side window car 80781 was originally born with wind up windows and converted later to plexi. Marcel Massini
Yes - same car featured on SpeedHunters The vinyl is a promotional demo for a new color by Inozetek (wrap company) in collaboration with Anti Social Social Club. The car was literally wrapped a week prior to SEMA. Last I recall, the odometer was barely over 15K and the owner drives it often.
