    Guys,

I urgently need an F40 replacement head gasket for my racing spec'd F40.
The standard one is not up to the job of withstanding 700bhp and 1.5 bar.
Can someone let me know if a racing upgraded part is available anywhere, or who can fabricate one for me.
    Many thanks.

Checked deck and heads before engine build?
If you are blowing head gaskets at 21 psi then I would suggest either turning the wick down, or pull the engine and install O-rings like the LM engine.

My guess is James Patterson at Norwood Performance can help you out.

You need to post this in the Super Ferrari section. Rick just finished having his angine rebuilt.

You should give Tate at Carobu a call 949-722-9307.

1.5 bar is not lot of boost. check and see if motor has detonation. check head gasket and see where it failed. check spark plugs and monitor afr, egt and knock sensor. o-ringing the heads or block is not going to save the motor from untuned engine. o-ringed heads with copper head gaskets requires lot more maintaining.

Try Spesso in Italy for a ringed gasket, I run them on my turbo cars with great succes. It is a "normal" gasket with separate fire rings. They can take any boost while the gasket seals like a stock item. No need to machine block or head.
    They are around $200 for a 4-cylinder.

They make some nice multi layered stainless gaskets.
